Predictions League action resumes across Europe this weekend  and while we anticipate the thrill, we are also looking to fatten our purses. 10 interesting match-ups across Saturday, Sunday and Monday night and we have made solid picks!

Wolverhampton vs Liverpool

Wolves play hosts to Liverpool, who are on a 3-match winning run, including a neat 3-0 victory over Aston Villa before the break. Wolves, on the other hand, were beaten by Crystal Palace 3-2 in their last game – their third loss in four games. Things aren’t looking good for them and you can expect a Liverpool in fine form to pile on their misery. Back Liverpool to win here.

Correct Score: 0-2

Aston Villa vs Crystal Palace

Aston Villa have scored 15 goals in their last 5 matches  which is quite impressive. Crystal Palace have scored 7 in their last 2 games which is equally as impressive. Now, both sides registered over 1.5 goals in six of their last seven meetings. That, and their impressive goal scoring performances so far – and it’s safe to put money on an over 1.5 goals outcome.

Correct Score: 2-1

Fulham vs Luton Town

It’s hard making a case for Luton Town. The last time they faced Fulham – February last year – they conceded seven. So far this season, the newly-promoted side are without a point. But Fulham have beaten Everton and were able to take a point against Arsenal. They should be able to come away with a win on home turf on Saturday.

Correct Score: 2-0

Man United vs Brighton

Brighton have beaten United in each of their last three league meetings. This season, they have been more convincing in play than the Red Devils  who were beaten 3-1 by Arsenal before the break. Tempted to go all out for Brighton in this one but let’s be more conservative here and double chance the Seagulls for a win or draw.

Correct Score: 1-1

Tottenham vs Sheffield

It’s easy seeing Tottenham win here. 3 wins and a draw from their opening four games, while Sheffield have lost five of their last six competitive games. Easy decision here.

Correct Score: 3-0

West Ham vs Man City

West Ham and league champions Man City, have been truly solid so far this season. You can back them to produce over 2.5 goals  just as they have done in four of their last five league encounters.

Correct Score: 1-2

Newcastle vs Brentford

Newcastle have beaten Brentford in each of their last three meetings. But they have been rather poor this season, losing three of their four matches so far. Brentford, meanwhile, have drawn three out of four – and if all that is anything to go by, I am backing Brentford to either win or draw on Saturday.

Correct Score: 1-1

Bournemouth vs Chelsea
I am going with over 1.5 goals in this one. This fixture has produced that outcome 5 times in the last 6 installments.

Correct Score: 1-2

Everton vs Arsenal
In this one, Arsenal are primed to get the better of Everton, who have lost three of their opening four games, drawing the other. The Toffees are in poor form and Arsenal, who outplayed Man United before the break, should take all three points here. You can take Arsenal to win & Over 1.5 goals.

Correct Score: 0-1

Nottingham Forest vs Burnley

Nottingham will play host to Burnley on Monday night. Burnley are bottom of the league, having lost all three of their league games this season, conceding 11 goals. They are poor at the back and this is something Nottingham, who beat Chelsea and put two past Man United, should exploit. But Burnley – only last month – beat Nottingham 1-0 in the EFL Cup. They might just be able to spring a surprise again. However, it’s unlikely that this will be a goal fest. Back them to produce Under 3.5 goals.

Correct Score: 2-2
